Kent Van Horn
Kent Van Horn brings over four decades of tax and financial experience to Revolution Group, including five years as a tax auditor with the Nebraska Department of Revenue. His career has spanned a wide range of roles—from auditor and controller to ERP and business consultant—giving him deep insight into both financial operations and strategic problem-solving.
Kent holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Nebraska Wesleyan University and is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). He also spent three years teaching part-time at Metropolitan Community College, sharing his real-world experience with the next generation of professionals.
His consulting work has taken him to 43 cities across 25 states and five countries, allowing him to gain a unique perspective on the diverse challenges businesses face. Whether he's advising clients or mentoring teams, Kent thrives on collaborating to solve complex problems.
Outside of work, Kent is an active leader in his community and has volunteered extensively at Camp Fontanelle for over 20 years, helping raise more than $5 million for capital projects. Most weekends in the spring and fall, you'll find him maintaining hiking trails—often with one of his four chainsaws in hand.
Kent and his wife enjoy traveling, and he's an avid hunter with stories to match (ask him about the bear story only if you have ten minutes to spare). He is also a Master Mason and a proud Shriner.
